The Golden Temple also known as Shri Harmandir Sahib was initiated by the Fourth Guru of Sikhs Guru Ramdass Ji and completed in 1601 by his successor Guru Arjun Dev ji. This is such a spiritual embodiment of the higher being that even the Non-Believer is seduced by the Hypontic Melody of Paath Listen to it and all your sorrows will be washed away and you will reveal your own inner Spirit.  Rumala Sahib 

Guru Granth Sahibji Should be covered in as adequate "RUMALA SAHIB" taking into the consideration. The surrounding Humidity and  Temprature. Rumala Sahib  appropriate to the season in the summer or in the winter. Thin Rumala Sahib should be placed over Guru Granth Sahib Like Silk, Cotton stuff, or light weight stuff and in thewinter / cold weather, warm Rumala Sahib Like Velvet stuff heavy zari material or a thick blanket.

 Chandoa Sahib 

A Chandoa Sahib of suitably silk embroided, velvet  embroided or flowered zari material should always be placed over the Guru Granth Sahib ji just below the ceiling. If the Guru Sahib's parkash in the Palki, then then there should be a small Chandoa Sahib in the palki and in turn a large Chandoa Sahib is to be hung just below the ceiling over the Palki

 Nishan Sahib

The Nishan Sahib is Sikh holy flag made of cotton or silk material and generally triangular in shape, with a tassel at its end. The word Nishan Sahib means symbol and the flag is hosted on a tall flag pole outside all Gurudwara Sahibs in India and Abroad. The flag pole itself covered with fabric ends with a two edged (Dagger)Khanda on the Top.
